This report describes the program of work to implement a prototype of the ESCAPE datalake, a data infrastructure supporting open science for the ESFRIs being part of the project. The first part of the report explainsthe overall architecture of the datalake and the various functional elements. The second part of the document gives a timeline of the project evolution.
