Milestone 33 was achieved in November 2021 with the development of functionality which integrates the Rucio query functionality in ESCAPE Work Package 5's ESFRI Science Analysis Platform (ESAP) with the Data Lake as a Service tooling developed in Work Package 2. Users can now use ESAP functionality to perform queries against the Rucio system, add the results to their shopping basket, and then access the results in a Jupyter notebook being used for interactive data analysis.
This functionality was merged into the esap-userprofile-python-client library on 22 November. It is immediately available to all users of that library. It will form the basis of further, deeper, integration between the ESAP and Data Lake systems over the coming months.
