Lukas Heinrich is a professor for Data Science in Physics at the Technical University of Munich. As a particle physicist working on the ATLAS Experiment at the Large Hadron Collider he focuses on introducing modern cloud computing and data science tools to more systematically search for phenomena beyond the Standard Model of Particle Physics. As part of the ORIGINS Excellence cluster he coordinates the ORIGINS Data Science Lab (ODSL) a knowledge hub for data science facilitating data science projects across particle physics, astrophysics as well as biophysics.
