Mohammad is senior scientist  at the GSI Helmholtzzentrum für Schwerionenforschung GmbH, Darmstadt, Germany. He is the group leader of the “Software development for experiments” in the IT department and deputy department leader. Mohammad is also responsible for the HPC Cluster and Storage at the GSI, he is also responsible for the development, implementation and operation of the online data reconstruction and analysis for the FAIR experiments at GSI/FAIR facility.  He is also one of the main designers and authors of the Online/Offline data reconstruction framework of the Alice experiment at CERN. Furthermore, he  is leading the sub-topic “The digital scientific Methos (ST2)” in the topic ”Data Management and Analysis” within the Helmholtz research Program “Matter and Technology”.

Mohammad and his group at the GSI participate in ESCAPE in the work package 3: Open Science Software and Service Repository (OSSR) that delivered a sustainable open-access repository to share scientific software and services to the science community.
