Matthias is the Coordinator of the Science User Support System (SUSS) in the Computing Department of the CTA Observatory (CTAO). The SUSS is one of the three major CTAO software packages and includes, among others, the science analysis tools, the science archive, and the science portal through which the CTAO services, software, and data products are accessible to the CTAO users. Before joining CTAO, he was a member of the H.E.S.S. experiment and contributed extensively to its array control and data acquisition system.
