ESCAPE - The European Science Cluster of Astronomy & Particle Physics ESFRI Research Infrastructures has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under Grant Agreement no. 824064.
The Institute for High Energy Physics (Instituto de Física de Altas Energías – IFAE) conducts experimental and theoretical research at the frontier of fundamental physics, namely in Particle Physics, Astrophysics and Cosmology. IFAE has played a leading role in the field of Gamma-ray Astronomy, having constructed and operated some of the critical parts of the MAGIC telescopes, like one of the photomultiplier cameras, or it’s Data Center.
