The European Space Agency is an intergovernmental organisation of 22 member statesdedicated to the exploration of space. ESA's space flight programme includes human spaceflight (mainly through participation in the International Space Station programme); the launch and operation of uncrewed exploration missions to other planets and the Moon; Earth observation, science and telecommunication; designing launch vehicles, amongst others. The ESA is dedicated to the peaceful exploration and use of space for the benefit of everyone.

Mission: 
ESA promotes European scientific and industrial interests in space. Its mission is to shape the development of Europe’s space capability and ensure that investment in space continues to deliver benefits to the citizens of Europe and the world.
Collaboration with ESCAPE: 
ESCAPE & ESA started discussions on creating joint activities to bring on-board SMEs into ESCAPE workplan, for win-win cooperation on issues, namely ervices and software developments, innovative use of machine learning tools to cluster-relevant scientific data, access to science data, amongst others ideas that may arise in the future.
Expected Impact: 
Contribute to the European economy by supporting industry sector, namely SMEs and startups, with the provision of innovative IT services that can bring innovation to the sector.
